My msg to D 20 school board.
As I researched the Superintendent selection, I think the D-20 school board made a great pick. Politics is too often a pup tent endeavor. In the swirl of candidates and pup tent agendas, D-20 made a big tent decision, selecting an effective candidate.
There will be many things the school board and new superintendent will agree on to work together.
Let’s look at a few:
In Washington state, Jinger successfully opposed the Teacher's Union in her district and that is awesome.
Reading about her working school start times and management of bus driver resources in her district in Washington state, she made hard and good decisions that get students to school
She critically managed new school bonds to maintain her schools. That is another awesome plus mark. Especially with a daunting $300 million deferred maintenance list / bill in D-20.
D-20’s leadership picked the person they want to work these important issues with the next two years… as is correct.
I encourage D-20’s elected board to turn down the volume on all the whiny nay sayers and name callers who don't have a clue beyond their tiny pup tents.
Good job!
