Exodus 33-34 The Law Comes Down on First Pentecost
John 11 Dead in Bethany
Exodus 33: 3 is a sobering verse. We read:
“Go up to a land flowing with milk and honey; for I will not go up in your midst, lest I consume you on the way, for you are a stiff-necked people.”
When God chooses to not go up in our midst, that is saying a lot. Years ago, a lot of people began declaring that we are no longer a Christian nation. Too true, but what would it take to welcome God back into our midst?
Think on that and pray on that as you read Exodus. Then, go to John and realize that He is the only one who can raise the dead. We need God to raise our dead country to life and welcome him with repentance, back into our midst.
