COS Election history says 17% will vote in Municipal Elections this April
Y'all need to Serve with Courage!
In our City’s last municipal election in 2021, 56,000 registered voters of 309,000 voted. That is 17%
Today, the city mails 305,000 ballots to registered voters. If trends continue, 17% of those, or 55,000 voters will participate in this year’s city election. That makes every vote critical and we must encourage people to vote.
Tomorrow, Sat 11 Mar, we meet at our house at 8:30 to press into walking the targeted houses of Unaffiliated and Republicans who voted in the last city election.

Let me tell ya’ll how this lands on the ground 😊
Jan keeps a stack of flyers in her car and puts them under wiper blades on windshields in Walmart, Target, and Chick Filet…
Some have a tough time knocking doors and that’s okay. Jan and our granddaughter, Ellie did that across multiple streets in our neighborhood, simply putting flyers on doorknobs.
Yesterday, I pounded about 30 signs in the ground at major intersections. Would appreciate more help with that so I can get back to knocking a bunch of doors.
Please send these links out to friends and family who live inside City Limits. I started putting a lot of my signs next to Longinos Gonzalez’ Mayor signs – And you will see why in the Mayor Forum. Very effective man, retired AF LtCol, and elected and reelected to County Commissioner. Most Tuesdays, he is at the Wholehearted Men’s breakfast at The Road and its been a joy to get to know him. Listening to how money talked in the Mayor’s forum, it seems obvious to me that its time to elect a fresh Mayor and city council. For me, that is Longinos for Mayor. For city Council we have three selections. After putting an X in the box next to my name, I plan to put X’s in the boxes for Roland Rainey and Gordon Klingenshmitt. Would really like to be on City Council with Roland and Gordon.
